Alfredo

Hello! My name is Kyle. I live in a little town in Missouri called Eldon. I am a teenager and I I’m single. And I like that. But that really isn’t true. I am in a relationship with Jesus Christ, and that is the most importing thing I have ever done.

Like most teenagers, I have a lot of stories. I think life should be fun, humorous, and joyful. The house I live in is my dad’s old childhood home with chickens, a collie named Decker, a guinea named Charlie. My first story is about my cat. This is my first time blogging. I hope you will like it.

Alfredo

My cat, actually he’s my older brother’s cat that lives with us. One morning I saw this. Meow! My cat, Alfredo, was screaming with fear while he raced toward the kitchen.

Meow!
Meow!

His heart was like a giant drum beating inside his little orange chest. He cried out in protest. The crying sounded like he was in pain. His paws glided across the hard flood like ice.

CLIP CLIP CLIP! His long, sharp back claws scratched the yellowish kitchen floor. Wide eyed, he hurried into the pantry. I chuckled at this funny sight and heard food hitting and bouncing inside the cat‘s food bowl. Happily chewing, he raised his head and offered his thankfulness.

Meow!

One word escaped out my mouth, “COFFEE!” which starts it all over again. My cat is very funny. Everyday Alfredo lovingly looks at my mom as he perches his self on her.

“ALFREDO!” she shouts.

He did nothing.

“Get off!” she groans.

He just purrs and closed his lovely eyes. “Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!”

Annoyed my mom pushes him off.

Now don’t be sad for him. He gets his revenge.
Really!
He does. How??? You may be asking?

In the mornings, while my mom is still asleep, he jumps onto the bed, places his cold nose onto her face, and gently touches her face with his paw in an attempt to wake her, because,…you know,… it’s time to EAT!

“ ALRIGHT! ALRIGHT! I’M AWAKE! “ My mom leaped out of bed.

“’My own little alarm clock” she announced.

But my mom wasn’t the only one be annoyed at Alfredo. One time I was lying in my bed. Sleeping. My door was closed. I heard an odd, loud sound.

I froze.

Again scratching , but LOUDER!

Finally I looked over and saw Alfredo at the door scratching at it.

“ ALFREDO! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!”

He stopped.

I smiled and tried go back to sleep.

He did it again.

I’m going to kick him out my room, I thought. Sleepily I got out of bed and walked at the door. As I opened the door, he raced out. Suddenly a thought popped in my mind. He needed to pee.

I love Alfredo and am thankful for him.
