I am an English/Creative Writing major at Fairfield University. I give presentations at national and international writing conferences held all over the United States. Some of the presentations are on using AAC and the Accent 1000 for Creative Writing and digital humanities pieces while other presentations address issues of disability inclusion and accommodation in education. These presentations have led to my work being published in the leading academic journal in writing studies and to opportunities to work with other scholars on proposals, articles, and presentations.
At school, I have earned membership in the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society and I was the 2019 recipient of the English Department’s Mariann S. Regan Award for Outstanding Achievement in English and the Creative Nonfiction Essay Award.
On campus, I am the founder and president of a community service club, Project Yes You Can, which strives to help people with and without medical conditions and struggles of poverty to have positive outlooks. I am also a member of the Fairfield University Pep Band and the literary club. I also lector at the campus chapel.
Outside of school, I run road races and triathlons in my walker. I am a Girl Scout National Delegate. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and our dog Biggie.
