Krista is a multimodal communicator and lifelong user of AAC. Krista has provided AAC mentoring, training, and support in teletherapy, classrooms, day-treatment programs for adults and various Virtual Social Groups including Kate Ahern's AAC Voices and Out and About. Krista has presented at many conferences around the nation sharing her experience as an AAC user and a model for other AAC users. Krista is a mom of a son. Krista earned her education AA degree, studying educational studies BA degree, and enrolled in a speech-language pathologist assistant program. Krista is also a provider to a lady who uses AAC. Krista loves to travel and help people. Krista has a passion for AAC and assisting others to find their voice. Krista has firsthand knowledge and experience of AAC devices and loves to build confidence in other AAC users like herself. She also provides encouragement and support to family members.
