Greetings from the great state of Washington, fellow Americans. My name Mr. Hanley, but you can call me Darren for short. I was born in Portland, OR in 1962. My life went pretty much normal until the 4th of July 1980 when I was struck by a brain aneurysm. Since then, my life has completely changed. I now use a power chair, a communication device, and depend on others to help with personal care tasks. I have been using PRC-Saltillo devices for nearly 40 years. I was introduced to them in Seattle 1985 shortly after moving to a UCP Residential Center, also known as The Rez. In my free time, I enjoy playing computer games on my tablet computer. I love making people laugh with my jokes. When is a door not a door? When it’s a jar.
