Hello my name is Brandon Williamson. I am from Grove City, Ohio near Columbus, the home of the OSU Buckeyes. I love hanging out with my big family. Besides my mom and my dad, I have 3 sisters, 2 brother-in-laws, 6 nieces, and 1 nephew. Having a big family is fun.
I use an Accent 1000 because it’s easy for me to use, it is big but not too heavy, it has a keyboard to customize my messages, and my device has integrated capabilities that I use daily, like email. I even use my device to Zoom for speech therapy and my doctor appointments. I am an AAC advocate for my community and like to make blog posts for the AAC Language Lab blog. I also go to therapies at Bridgeway Therapy Center and attend a day program called All R Friends during the weekdays.
I like the Buckeyes, going out to eat to get cheeseburgers and going on vacations to the beach with my big family. I like using my device to read scripture during mass at my church. I also enjoy helping other AAC users learn how to use their communication device to speak to others. Go Buckeyes!
