Sean Walker Aims High and Finds Success

Posted Jul 15, 2015 - 2:18pm

Sean Walker of Euclid, Ohio has set two goals for himself: Find full-time employment and qualify for the Paralympic Games. Given his successes in life to date despite the challenges of cerebral palsy, it’s a safe bet he will achieve his objectives.

Sean is a 27-year-old who earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Wright State University in 2013.

A sports enthusiast, he plays boccia, which he describes as “the Paralympic form of bocce,” and coaches a boccia team at Youth Challenge, a nonprofit organization that provides sports and recreation opportunities for children with disabilities. He recently was named one of the top 25 young professionals in Cleveland – Movers and Shakers – by the Cleveland 20/30 Club, an organization that connects young professionals and mentors to create a thriving community. Sean was honored for his work in the community and coaching a Paralympic sport.
