Upcoming Fun

Camp is coming up next weekend and I'm excited about it. The Kyle Pease Foundation sets it up. The camp is in Winder, Georgia. It's called Camp Wheel Away because we all ride bikes together. That makes it different from other camps.

The camp is kind of back in the woods. There are cabins and there are five girls in each cabin. Boys have separate cabins. We all have counselors. Usually there are about three counselors in each cabin. There are no televisions or radios in the cabin. But it’s not boring.

Once you get there, there are so many fun things to do. In addition to the special bikes that even people that use wheelchairs can ride, there is also wheelchair racing, a zip line, and a bonfire. This year we are having a glow party, where we all wear clothes that glow in the dark. I see friends that I see a lot. I also see others that I do not get to see often like my friends Kyleigh, Natalie, and Andrew. One year even my doctor, who I love, was there to ride bikes with us.

If you are young like me or you have a kid, try overnight camp. If not Camp Wheel Away, find another. At camp we have fun, try new things and meet new people. Also, we get away from home for a little vacation.
