Much Ado About MacKenzie

Posted Oct 16, 2019 - 12:07pm

By Mackenzie Sanders, PRC-Saltillo Blogger

I'm a 19 year old girl with cerebral palsy .   I have a lot of limitations including talking.  I have used a computer since I was 5 with dual head switches.   It was very difficult communicating my needs until I got a computer.  I have been using an Accent 1400 since February.   In 2010 I got to show off my skills to a group of speech-language pathologists.  I was proud to present my talent to them.  Recently, I graduated from high school.   I will be attending college soon.   I'm excited to try something new.  I get outpatient occupational therapy and physical therapy to help me get strong Hope that you will keep following me throughout my blogs!
