How I start conversations

by Matt Huggins

Hi, my name is Matt.  I'm forty-one.  I was born with a condition that makes it very difficult for me to control my muscles.  My thinking and my senses are not affected at all, just my body.  Inside, I'm just like any other guy you know, and probably smarter and funnier than most! When I meet new people, I would ask questions like... "Where are you from?" "Shat have you been up to on your vacation?" "What kind of activities do you like to do on vacation?" "Do you travel often and if yes, where you have been?" and "Have you seen any good movies lately on the plane?" Hopefully the conversation will then move forward from there.

I still have dreams about traveling to Paris and Venice.  But right now I can't travel. I know I could try virtual reality for travel but it is too expensive, I think.  Write me a comment about your experience about if you have experience with virtual reality and travelling. I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks for reading and have a great summer.
