As a recent graduate of 2025, I have enjoyed many subjects in school. But if I had to pick one to be my favorite, it would have to be business. In my high school there are what we call pathways. All students are able to pick between four pathways. The pathways are Public Service, Medical, Engineering and Business. These pathways are to help students pick what career field they are interested in.
When I was asked which pathway I wanted to be in, due to my family having their own business, I choose Business. My four years of being in this pathway has been an amazing experience. From learning how to write a full business plan to making a website. I have learned so much from taking these classes. Taking these classes I have also earned multiple awards such as being a finalist in my schools business plan competition and being certified in operating an SBE (School Based Enterprise). In addition to having these awards and knowledge from these classes, I also have earned college credit through these courses.
After I graduated from high school, I am now starting college at California State University, San Marcos. As I start a new chapter in my life I plan on going to college and pursuing a degree in business. I am grateful that I took these classes which I enjoyed. By having this knowledge, I am more than ready to take on this new chapter in my life.
