For me, pride shows up in a few different ways — like the music I listen to, the clothes I wear, and even the way I live my life. I may be a Midwestern boy, but my dad and grandpa instilled that southern pride and strong values in me. I’ve always felt connected to those southern roots, and they show up in the country rap and country music I love. The lyrics and beats tell stories
about real life, strength, and staying true to who you are. It’s a constant reminder of where I come from and what I stand for.
The way I dress is another way I show pride. Whether it’s a favorite hat, boots, or shirt, I choose things that make me feel confident and connected to my identity. My clothes say, "This is me, and I’m proud of it."
I also show pride through the things I love, like my Jeep . Jeeps and off-roading are a big part of my life. It’s about embracing that bold, adventurous spirit — something that’s always been with me, thanks to my family.
Even how I communicate shows pride. I use an AAC device to share my thoughts and speak up. Every time I use it, I’m showing the world that my voice matters — and thatmakes me proud too.
And this blog? Sharing my story is just one more way I stand tall in who I am.
