I enjoy many outdoor activities that keep me active and healthy. I go to my local park regularly for walks. I walk for 2 miles. Every year I take part in the San Jose Rock n Roll 5K. I also take part in other local 5K events. I like playing sports. My favorite sports are swimming and basketball. I also do yoga and recently I joined a soccer camp. My body constantly seeks movement and participating in sports helps me to focus and regulate myself. I feel relaxed and happy and it helps me stay motivated and builds my self-confidence. I also go skiing in winters. I have been skiing for 3 years now. I also enjoy bowling with my friends. I feel happy spending time with them. I can’t say much about my food habits because I love eating, especially Indian food. I’m a big rice eater but I don’t like eating sweets at all and I avoid junk food. Listening to music and saying my daily prayers makes me feel relaxed and helps me stay positive. It helps ease my anxiety. Reading books is also relaxing. I am a Roman Catholic. I like going to Church to attend the Sunday mass. It is a very joyful experience to actively participate in the mass by using my AAC. I also like to say my rosary occasionally with my mom. I have all my prayers saved in my device.
I want to thank my coaches and instructors who help me enjoy all my favorite sports and my parents for being involved in helping me stay healthy.
