Hi, I’m Chloe Alyssa Winfield! I am a proud teenager from Belleville, Illinois, and I am thrilled to be a PRC-Saltillo Ambassador. My journey started with a lot of challenges—I was born with alcohol in my system, diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and blessed to be adopted by a wonderful family who fought for me in court when I was just a baby.
When I was eight, everything changed. I received my first Accent device, moving from using my eyes to communicate to finding my true voice. Today, I can understand everything around me and know exactly what I want to say, whenever I want to say it.
I’m currently a popular 11th grader who loves hanging out with my friends. I have a major passion for fashion—teachers always compliment my pretty outfits!—and a deep love for music. My playlist covers everything from hip hop, country, and rock to R&B and the oldies. I love singing, dancing, and going on travel adventures. A few fun facts about me:
• I share a birthday with the King of Pop, Michael Jackson!
• My absolute favorite food is pasta (but keep the vegetables, pickles, sausage, and pie away from me!).
• I have a massive family, including a bunch of older siblings and a troublemaking canine niece named Blue.
• My signature colors are pink and black, and Christmas is my favorite time of the year.
I am a highly independent person. While I still need a hand with daily routines like eating and brushing my teeth, I take pride in doing things on my own terms. I'm a normal, happy teenager who can definitely be a little sassy sometimes! Above all, Jesus is my world, and I love Him with all my heart. My Accent device gave me the world, and I can't wait to share my voice with others as an ambassador!
