Although, I wasn’t sure if I wanted to stay in a dorm like my brother, being accepted to go to college was ‘a dream come true.’

The Great Outdoors

When I was accepted at Columbia College, I found out that my first day was going to be the day after my birthday. This is usually a busy time for us. Not only do I start college during this time, I have my birthday, my parents have their wedding anniversary, and my dad has his birthday. When my dad realized that he had a three-day weekend, we decided that we should do something special to celebrate all of these occasions.
