My Newborn Kittens

You’ll never guess what happened last night! My black cat, Dot, gave birth to TWO kittens, in my bedroom closet.

I didn’t even know she was pregnant. She gave birth at night when I was sleeping, and I didn’t even hear her! In the morning when my sister, Charlotte, went to get dressed, she pushed back all of the dresses. To her surprise, she saw a little tail in a doll house. She looked in it and there were two tiny black kittens. Charlotte ran down the hall yelling, “DOT HAD BABIES!!!”. I was watching TV when I heard my sister yelling. I was surprised and excited!

They’re 2 days old today, so they’re still too young to hold them. But I can’t wait to snuggle them.
