I earned my Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies, focusing on intercultural communication, in May 2017. Currently, I am earning my Master's degree in Communication Studies, specializing in cultural communication of people with significant mobility and communicative differences and their autonomy, independence, and sense of self.
As a part of my graduate work, I co-instructed an undergraduate course for two years on ableism. Between co-instructing the undergraduate course and presenting nationally on AAC, I enjoy teaching people about the cultural attitudes and expectations toward those who have significant mobility and communicative differences.
I am looking forward to seeing the world to be a better place for AAC communicators.
